Peter tells us something most people don’t want to hear:

Before God reveals what’s on you…
He tests what’s in you.

And right now?
The shaking we’re seeing—economically, culturally, spiritually—
is not random.
It’s refining.

Refiner’s fire isn’t punishment.
It’s separation.

Some things can survive the flame.
Some things can’t.

And Peter warns:
When the pressure comes, some will burn up—
their faith was built on comfort, culture, or convenience.

But others?
They’ll come out like pure gold.

What’s the difference?

Yielding.
Leaning into Jesus instead of fear.
Letting Him strip away everything that isn’t Him:

— the spirit of mammon
— the addiction to self-reliance
— the pride of life
— the lust of the flesh
— the lust of the eyes
— the illusions that kept us spiritually asleep

Refinement hurts…
but it heals.

Because God isn't trying to destroy you—
He’s trying to make you look like His Son:
love, joy, peace, holiness, righteousness, strength.

When you consecrate yourself—
set yourself apart for Him—
something supernatural happens:

You don’t stand in your own strength anymore.
He stands in you.

And that is why the shaking matters.

Everything that isn’t from Him falls away.
Everything that is from Him remains.

And when you finally yield…
you discover the secret:

Real life… real peace… real purpose…
is found only in the One you were made to abide in.

Refined.
Strengthened.
Unshakable.

Come out as gold.
