Released in 2014 and directed by Tiller Russell, this documentary chronicles the corrupt career of NYPD officer Michael Dowd, who from the mid-1980s to 1992 ran a criminal enterprise inside Brooklyn’s 75th Precinct. Through extensive interviews with Dowd himself, his partner Henry “Chicky” Guevara, fellow officers, prosecutors, and drug dealer Adam Diaz, it details how Dowd and his crew robbed dealers, sold cocaine and heroin on a massive scale, provided protection to traffickers, and kidnapped rivals on behalf of Dominican drug lords, exposing one of the largest police corruption scandals in New York City history that ultimately triggered the Mollen Commission investigation.
