June 30, 2008: Epstein pleaded guilty in Florida state court to two felony charges: one count of solicitation of prostitution and one count of solicitation of prostitution with a minor. As part of a controversial non-prosecution agreement with federal prosecutors at the time, he avoided federal charges and received an 18-month jail sentence, ultimately serving 13 months in a work-release program.
