Hey everyone, Leaflit here! In today’s video I’m reacting to TommyNFG’s clip titled “The Aura Collapse of America” (where he argues that the U.S. is suffering a major loss of prestige due to school sh*otings, immigration enforcement, the opi*id crisis, and shifting global loyalties).

While I respect Tommy’s concerns, I strongly disagree with his overall framing—and I want to dig into why.

Here’s what I cover:

Tommy argues the U.S. PR is collapsing because of visible issues like mass sh*otings, ICE/deportation policy, “f*nt zombies,” and foreign allegiance — and yes, those are real problems.

But I argue: lots of the places calling out the U.S. are far worse, yet they demand America police the world and send it money while later complaining. That’s hypocrisy.

If you’re going to call out the U.S., you should also hold up mirrors to other nations—or at least stop pretending you’re operating from a higher moral ground.

In short: The U.S. has flaws — absolutely — but the global chorus of criticism often ignores its own failings, and I believe that context matters a lot when we talk about “collapse.”
