Travel V-Log : Smitty's Super Service Station : Part 2

Mannnnnn oh mannnnn, my travel V-Log has returned, and have I got a treat for all of you out there. This will be a 2 part series (because of the footage) and also too because just 1 part would not showcase this amazing place. I had so much fun checking this place out, and I know you're gonna enjoy seeing this too.

So down in rural Mississippi there is a place that I had only heard about and seen online. Now for anyone my age (42 and up) you'll most certainly remember Chuck E Cheese and Showbiz Pizza. They were the original "Family Entertainment Centers" and were the place to be when we were growing up.

Sadly however, the world around us decayed into a politically correct/miserable place that I dubbed "The MopeyWorld" and not too many of these places exist anymore.

But great news.....Mr. Damon Breland (Owner of Smittys Super Service) has created an oasis of fun, nostalgia and in my opinion, something truly unbelievable that you have to experience for yourself!

For those of you that can't visit in person (yet) allow me to take you on a journey back in time and into a place where the MopeyWorld doesn't exist....this is Smitty's Super Service Station.

He opened Smitty's in 2007, and moved the operation to its current location in 2018. Smitty's is now open by appointment only, so you can have the balcony all to yourself as you enjoy a full library of musical programming on three stages.

The lineup includes Dook LaRue, Beach Bear, Fatz Geronimo and the rest of the original cast. Additionally, some characters from Chuck E. Cheese and his band are on hand to extend the show. Breland and his band were featured in the 2008 documentary The Rock-afire Explosion.
