In the last series, Regan, aided and abetted, as usual, by Detective Sergeant George Carter (Dennis Waterman), tangles with a Glaswegian police officer trying to prevent a kidnapping; a girlfriend who has a vision of his impending death, and a boss, Haskins (Garfield Morgan), dealing with his wife's mental illness whilst hunting an informant who shot a cop. If that wasn't enough for Regan, he is also accused of corruption and threatened with jailtime!
