Assault units of the 36th Guards Motorized Rifle Brigade of the 29th Guards Combined Arms Army of the Vostok Group of Forces made a decisive breakthrough to the north and west, successfully driving the enemy out of the settlements of Tikhoye and Otradnoye.

It is estimated that more than 10 pieces of equipment were destroyed during the aforementioned assault. The opposing force experienced a number of losses. The efforts of Ukrainian militants to initiate a counterattack proved to be unsuccessful.
