1 Thessalonians 5:18says to “give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus.”
Psalms 118:1“O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good: because his mercy endures for ever.”
God is good.
His mercy endures forever.
Psalm 73:1“Surely God is good to Israel, to those who are pure in heart.”
Psalm 100:5“For the LORD is good and his love endures forever; his faithfulness continues through all generations.
Ps 135:3“Praise the LORD; for the LORD is good: sing praises unto his name;”Praise the LORD, for the LORD is good; sing praise to his name, for that is pleasant.
Psalm 145: 9The LORD is good to all; he has compassion on all he has made.
Lamentations 3: 25“The LORD is good to those whose hope is in him, to the one who seeks him;”
Nahum 1:7“The LORD is good, a refuge in times of trouble. He cares for those who trust in him,”
Mark 10:18…“Why do you call me good?” Jesus answered.“No one is good—except God alone.”
Psalm 108:4 (KJV)“For thy mercy is great above the heavens: and thy truth reacheth unto the clouds.
God’s mercy is boundless

God’s mercy is undeserved.
Ps 103:8-13 8
“The Lord is compassionate and gracious, slow to anger, abounding in love.9He will not always accuse, nor will he harbor his anger forever;10he does not treat us as our sins deserve or repay us according to our iniquities.11For as high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is his love for those who fear him;12as far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us.13As a father has compassion on his children, so the Lord has compassion on those who fear him;
God’s Mercy is intimate
Ps 145:8-9“The Lord is gracious and compassionate, slow to anger and rich in love.”9The Lord is good to all; he has compassion on all he has made.”
God’s Mercy Prolongs Life
Lam 3:22-23“Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail.”23They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.
God’s mercy Provides Salvation
Titus 3:5“Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, …”
God’s Mercy Forgives Sin
Micah 7:18“Who is a God like unto thee, that pardoneth iniquity, and passeth by the transgression of the remnant of his heritage? he retaineth not his anger for ever, because he delighteth in mercy.”
God’s Mercy Makes Salvation Possible
2 Peter 3:9The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.
God is Merciful even in Judgement
Lam 3:31-32 “For no one is cast off by the Lord forever.”32Though he brings grief, he will show compassion, so great is his unfailing love.”
GOD IS MERCIFUL
Genesis 39:21,22 says21the Lord was with him; he showed him kindness and granted him favor in the eyes of the prison warden. 22So the warden put Joseph in charge of all those held in the prison, and he was made responsible for all that was done there.
31For the Lord your God is a merciful God; he will not abandon or destroy you or forget the covenant with your ancestors, which he confirmed to them by oath.”Deuteronomy 4:31
“Surely your goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever(Psalms 23:6)
