RetroInspection - Robin Hood - pt. 1

Who we know of as Robin Hood has been passed down to us through the ages. His first recorded mention is in the poem Piers Plowman, but it is a foregone conclusion that tales of Robin had been around for many, many years before the composition of Plowman.
Though his origin is a mystery lost to the past, this heroic character has endured through English history, literature and films and the world beyond for hundreds of years. Such is the nature of the heroism he represents and the strength that it carries even today.
