Hey everyone — it’s Leaflit here! In this video I’m reacting to a clip from Hero Hei titled “Pokimane Finally Snapped”, where he argues that Pokimane’s recent comments — saying she “misses when Twitch was about gaming” — don’t line up with her track-record. After all, she helped pioneer the shift away from pure gaming streams toward personality-based content, IRL, reactions and more.

Why Pokimane’s “I miss gaming Twitch” line feels hypocritical. If you helped change the platform’s direction, you can’t turn around and act like you were always about the old game-centric mode.

How xQc stood up to Pokimane’s subtweets and statements in the past, calling out the drama farming and saying he wanted her to say it with her chest. I am supporting him because he demanded clarity and consistency.

How Ludwig tried to defend Pokimane (and by extension her era of content) despite past controversies resurfacing — like the clip of Ludwig allegedly threatening a 16-year-old streamer for complimenting his girlfriend QTCinderella — while doing basically nothing when Hasan tried to “show his package” to her. The uneven enforcement of “creator decorum” among top streamers is wild.

My take: If you’re going to lecture about “when Twitch was about games,” you better be ready for your own timeline to be looked at. And if you defend someone, make sure you defend truth, not just your friend-group.

I also point out: This isn’t about “streamer drama for clicks” alone — it’s about credibility. In a space where creators claim to stand for authenticity, you must practise what you preach.
