Bob Larson is an American radio and television evangelist and a pastor of Spiritual Freedom Church in Phoenix, Arizona. He has authored numerous books critical of rock music and Satanism.  In the Name of Satan (1990) delves into a series of brutal ritualistic murders that shake a small community already plagued by fear and moral decay. As police struggle to identify the killers, an investigative reporter uncovers links to a clandestine cult operating beneath the surface of ordinary life. The film blends true-crime tension with psychological horror, exploring how charismatic leaders manipulate vulnerable followers through fear, esoteric symbolism, and promises of power. As the investigation deepens, the lines between religious fanaticism, satanic panic, and genuine occult criminality blur.
