In this ROPE Report Replay from 5.23.25, Mary from V1SUT Vantage joins Jenni to talk about the confirmation hearing that took place in the Oklahoma Senate Education Committee, 5.20.25, for attorney Mike Tinney to the Oklahoma State School Board.

Mr. Tinney was appointed by the Governor to take the seat of previous Board member, Kendra Wesson. Initially, Tinney's senator, Lisa Standridge, declared that she would not carry Tinney's nomination, halting the process.

Later, ProTemp, Lonnie Paxton, agreed to carry Tinney's nomination, allowing a confirmation hearing to take place on that date.

During the confirmation hearing, Tinney himself provided information to the Senate Education Committee that indicated a conflict of interest. We'll go over that hearing in the live podcast.
