Russia’s Defence Ministry said on Monday that its forces carried out precision artillery strikes against Ukrainian military sites in the Zaporozhye and Sumy regions, destroying what it described as UAV command posts with operators inside. The ministry said the Vostok Group targeted drone control hubs while units of the 44th Army Corps struck camouflaged positions, military equipment and concentrations of Ukrainian troops. The claims, which could not be independently verified, come as both sides intensify efforts to degrade each other’s reconnaissance and strike capabilities along the front.
