I would like to thank the organizers for the opportunity to speak at the European Parliament in Brussels during the Women, Power, Security and Peace summit, held under the auspices of the ECDA – European Center for Development and Geostrategic Studies and Analysis. It was an honor for me to present investigative work focused on the activities of Jakub Jahl in Tanzania and to draw attention to the actions of a transnational network of anti-cult fighters, which has long been violating human rights and undermining democratic principles around the world. With this speech, I am presenting the voices of dozens of witnesses and survivors from Tanzania, primarily children, whom I have personally spoken with. All children around the world deserve our protection, and this is why it is essential to respond immediately and uncompromisingly—within the framework of the law—to anything that threatens them.
