Ua Mau Ke Ea O Ka 'Aina I Ka Pono, "The Life of the Land is Perpetuated in Righteousness" This historic motto of the Hawaiian Kingdom declared by King Kamehameha III in 1843, carries deep cultural and spiritual meaning. It represents a pono (right and just) way of life.
