The Cross & Resurrection — Why the Resurrection Matters

Today we walked through one of the most powerful truths in the Christian faith:
why the resurrection of Jesus matters — right now, in our daily lives.

Our main Scripture, 1 Corinthians 15:12–22, makes it clear:

📖 If Christ has not been raised… our faith is worthless,
we are still in our sins,
and we have no hope.
(1 Corinthians 15:14–17)

But praise God —
“Christ has been raised… the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep.”
(1 Corinthians 15:20)

Because Jesus rose:

✨ Our sins are truly forgiven
✨ We walk in newness of life
✨ We have a living hope
✨ Death is defeated
✨ Our own resurrection is guaranteed

Every fear melts in the presence of resurrection truth.
Every burden becomes lighter.
