Anyone But You

While I have survived 2 divorces & numerous romantic disasters, I did *not* write this song w/any of my own exes in mind. The title of the song comes from A Mighty Wind's Mitch Cohen who "wrote" a song w/that title after his break-up w/partner Mickey Crabbe but the true inspiration comes from a friend's late wife who once pulled a gun (unloaded, unbeknownst to her) on him & tried to shoot him. While he remained w/her, a choice I questioned, I put myself in his place & the song arrived.
