News Brief. i was made ward of the state and taken away from my parents at age 11 after running away from home when they finally found me months later. i did juvi time in max security, foster care, 2 different lock up treatment centers for 6 months each. for my experience the people involved were all in it for the government money. even the foster parents. we had like 8 kids or more in that house. none of us related. they collected a check for every head. they barely fed us, but they didn't abuse us, or me anyways. i got that from counselors and doctors and shrinks.
