🔥 Christ the King Sunday: The Battle You’re Already In! 🔥

Pastor Bill Hartley | Alive in Christ Lutheran Church – Marana, Arizona
On the final Sunday of the church year, we celebrate the cosmic truth: Jesus is King over every power, every kingdom, and every demonic force that wants to rule your life. The world says God is distant and life is on autopilot. Scripture says the whole world lies under the power of the evil one… until King Jesus rescues us from the domain of darkness and transfers us into His eternal kingdom!

From the thief on the cross who cried, “Jesus, remember me when You come into Your kingdom,” to Martin Luther’s battle cry “A Mighty Fortress Is Our God,” this sermon pulls no punches:
✝️ Satan is real, active, and scheming
✝️ The kingdoms of this world have been handed over to him (for now)
✝️ Only one little word—JESUS—subdues him
✝️ You were dead in the darkness… but Christ made you alive and seated you with Him!

If you’ve ever wondered:
• Why following Jesus sometimes feels hard while the world seems to “win”
• How the Lord’s Prayer “Thy kingdom come” is actually a war cry
• What it really means to say “Jesus is my King”
…this message is for you.

Come see why we plant churches, why we invite the unlikely, and why the Lord’s Table should send us running to the highways and byways with the best news ever: Today—yes, TODAY—you can be with Jesus in paradise.
