The Two Doctors: the Second and Sixth Doctors encounter each other while the Time Lords send the Second Doctor and Jamie to investigate dangerous time-travel experiments on a space station. Meanwhile, the Sixth Doctor travels to the station with Peri, where they discover a plot involving the villainous Dastari, the cannibalistic Androgum Chessene, and the Sontarans.

The Sontarans and Androgums plan to use the Second Doctor's genetic code to give themselves the power of time travel, and the two Doctors must work together to stop them.
