Hey everyone — it’s Leaflit! In this video I’m reacting to Hero Hei’s clip titled “Pokimane Just Deleted Everything”, where he breaks down how Pokimane posted a nostalgic message about missing when Twitch was all about gaming — then deleted it entirely after huge backlash. According to Hero, she wasn’t deleting it because she realized she was wrong… but because people called her out for criticizing something she helped build.

Here’s what I’m really thinking:

Pokimane has consistently complained about “clip farming” and drama-focused streams, but she was one of the very people who leaned into that. That deletion feels less like self-reflection and more like damage control.

When you call out a problem that you contributed to, deleting your own criticism rather than owning up to the full scope shows a lack of accountability.

The timing and severity of her deletion suggest she didn’t change her mind — she just folded under pressure. And that’s… weak for someone with her influence.

Hero Hei’s point is strong: if you’re going to take a stand about streaming culture, you need to be ready for the mirror to show your own face.

I also unpack why this matters for all of us watching: creators should be able to question the system, but they should also acknowledge their role in shaping it. Otherwise the critique rings hollow.

If you care about real talk, genuine criticism, and holding creators to their own words — please like, subscribe, and hit the bell**! And drop a comment: What do you think — did she delete because she was wrong, or just caught? Do creators owe us honesty even when it's inconvenient?
