E.R.N.I.E 1964

E.R.N.I.E. stands for Electronic Random Number Indicator Equipment. ERNIE was invented by one of the original Bletchley Park codebreakers and was used to pick the Premium Bond Winners. This film, made in 1964, was produced for the General Post Office to show how the system worked.
