CS # 145 MR STRANGE THE GREGORY

Mr. Gregory, a reclusive magician with hypnotic powers and the ability to feign death, becomes obsessed with the wife of an amateur magician, Ellen Randall. He frames her husband for his "murder" by going into a state of suspended animation, then reappears as his fictional twin brother, "Lane Talbot," to pursue Ellen. His elaborate scheme begins to unravel when Ellen's friend grows suspicious.
