The 'Genesis Mission' has been launched under the Trump administration.

It is a national AI platform built on US supercomputers and federal science data to train scientific foundation models, and run AI agents/robotic labs.

The goal is to automate experiments in biotech, critical materials, nuclear fission/fusion, space, quantum, and semiconductors.

In November 2024, Trump announced Musk would lead DOGE, stating it could potentially become the Manhattan Project of our time.

Fast forward to November 2025, as DOGE just so happens to be making rounds in the news (by design), Trump now calls the Genesis Mission a Manhattan Project. (DOGE was about AI governance.)

In October 2019, a Google 'whistleblower' spoke on Google’s relationship with China and the company’s AI project DeepMind which was dubbed the "AI Manhattan Project.” (Google is also one of many partners in the Genesis Mission.)
