The Clarion Call remembers Jimmy Cliff's "The Harder They Come," the song and the movie! #reaction

The great Jamaican Reggae musician Jimmy Cliff passed away yesterday at the age of 81. His song, and the 1972 movie of the same name, "The Harder They Come," is credited with first bringing Reggae music to a world-wide audience.

I remember seeing the movie when it first came out and also buying the soundtrack album. Both made a lasting impression on me. In this video I am using a trailer from the movie which includes the full song as well as scenes from the movie.

I also made a lyric video to react to, because in some cases the dialogue from the movie makes it hard to hear the words. The original of this trailer can be found here:
