A covenant in Scripture is more than a contract — it’s a sacred promise or binding relationship that God initiates with humanity. Covenants are how God reveals His plan to redeem, bless, and dwell with His people. They form the backbone of the entire biblical story — from Genesis to Revelation but more importantly, Jesus Christ is the fulfillment of all the covenants.

Today's program will discuss how morality exists independently of human opinion and explain that moral truths are true regardless of what people believe, whether Christian or secular, and murder is just one example of this. Subjective morality depends on human feelings, culture, or personal preferences and this is how we get right or wrong varies by individual or society and this is why subjective morality does not build up strong foundations. Many secular philosophers do believe in objective morality without appealing to God or religion which is known as moral realism.

Most everyone has heard these stories but they are synonymous with each other as one without the other makes little sense and while the stories are connected, so are the lessons that come from the events. For example, this was not just a natural disaster — it was a divine judgment with redemptive purpose and without the Ark, Noah and his family would have been wiped away in the disaster.

This story is the first murder in human history but there's a much bigger theological meaning behind the murder as there is a family connection involved but also, a lesson that speaks to worship, the nature of sin, human responsibility, and even the gospel itself. 🔁 Abel prefigures Christ — the innocent one, rejected and murdered by his brother (humanity), whose blood leads not to revenge but to redemption.

The importance of Godly marriage in a secular world cannot be overstated. As the world increasingly drifts from biblical truth, Godly marriages stand as living testimonies of God's design, faithfulness, and love.A Christian marriage is a living illustration of the gospel. In a society where love is often shallow or self-centered, Godly marriage reflects far more than just a loving relationship between two people — it is a mirror of spiritual truths, a testimony to the world, and a living picture of God’s covenant love.

Understanding Scripture looks at the ideas of inerrancy and infallibility of God's Word. Inerrancy of the Bible states it is without error in everything it affirms in the original manuscripts and t does not contain falsehood or contradiction, whether it’s teaching theology, history, or morality. Infallibility of the Bible states it is incapable of leading us astray in matters of faith and salvation and it's trustworthy and sure because it comes from a perfect, faithful God.

Understanding Scripture goes Diggin' Deeper into the Bible with the Authority of the Bible in a Christians life. The idea that the Bible has complete authority in our lives is a foundational belief for many Christians. the Bible has complete authority" means that: All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: (2 Timothy 3:16-17). The Bible is the ultimate guide for faith, conduct, morality, truth, and spiritual matters.

The Fall of Man inside the Garden of Eden led to the expulsion of Adam and Eve from the Garden. Outside the Garden of Eden, Adam and Eve was apart of the beginning of human history and civilization — agriculture, cities, law, language. Out of loss and exile comes creation and growth — a tragic but necessary beginning.

Two important events that are not completely understood among Christians and nonbelievers include the Beginning of Creation and the Fall of Man. These are two of the most important events in the history of the world. The Beginning of creation, God created the Heaven and Earth and established order within six days, rested on the seventh. It did not take long for man, created on Day Six, to rebel against God which created the Fall of Man.

The world may teach that there are multiple ways to Heave but Jesus Christ says there is only one way to the Father, through Him. The Bible is clear that we are "saved by grace through faith, and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God". This concept emphasizes that salvation is not earned by good works or human effort, but is freely given by God's love and mercy through the atoning sacrifice of Jesus. Before we do not have another opportunity, come to Christ and give Him your heart.
