But to run it well, the verse tells us to lay aside every weight—
The fear that slows you,
The sin that traps you,
The opinions that drain you.

You weren’t called to run carrying yesterday’s failures.
You weren’t called to run carrying people’s expectations.
You run by looking unto Jesus—
Not to your past,
Not to your problems,
Not to your critics…
But to the One who started your faith… and the One who will finish it.”

“So when life gets heavy, lift your eyes.
When you feel weak, look to Jesus.
When you stumble, get back up—because your finish line is still ahead.

Run your race…
Stay the course…
And keep your eyes on the One who already paved your victory.”
