Thanksgiving weekend is traditionally when many Americans decorate their homes for Christmas. If you're from the South, last years decorations are probably still up.

Happy Thanksgiving and remember that Thanksgiving is a time recognize a bunch of people with funny shoes and hats who landed on a rock shaped like a Plymouth over 400 years ago; who celebrated the end to their journey with a feast. They celebrated because they were alive and free. Be thankful for what you have. What seems meager and of no account to you might be a priceless treasure to someone else. Although they rejoiced the end of their trip, they also rejoiced in the fellowship of family and friends.

As you gather tomorrow for good food and fellowship, leave any animosity, politics, etc. at the door and enjoy time with family and friends.
