Dr. Thayer is a Founding Member of the Committee on the Present Danger: China and Fellow of the American Freedom Alliance. He contributed to the 2021 DHS Strategic Action Plan countering the PRC threat while serving as a Special Governmental Employee. A former Visiting Fellow at Oxford’s Magdalen College and Harvard’s Belfer Center, he is a leading expert on the existential danger posed to the West by the Chinese Communist Party and Marxism-Leninism.
