Teen’s Death Certificate Released in Cruise Ship Homicide Investigation

Anna Kepner, the 18-year-old who died on a Carnival cruise ship, has been cremated, according to her publicly released death certificate. The FBI is still investigating, and her family told ABC News that her death has been ruled a homicide caused by mechanical asphyxiation. In an unrelated custodial hearing, Kepner’s stepmother claimed her own son, Kepner’s stepson, is a suspect in her death. Law&Crime’s Chris Stewart is On the Case.
