Ahmad Asaad, the governor of the Tubas district, said in an interview with Arab media outlets that at 4 in the morning, Israel announced that the residents of Tubas must remain in their homes due to the operation, which will last several days. As a result, it was announced that government institutions and educational institutions in Tubas would be closed.

IDF forces are focusing their activity in the cities of Tubas, Tamun, Aqaba and Tulkarem area.

Dozens of heavy machinery have entered the Nur Shams camp in Tulkarem. The IDF has instructed residents to evacuate all agricultural structures adjacent to the separation barrier in the northwest of the Tulkarem district, near the villages of Attil and Zeita, opposite the communities of Magal, Zemer, and Jat.
