Song of Solomon 6:8-9
“There are threescore queens, and fourscore concubines, and virgins without number. My dove, my undefiled is but ONE… the daughters saw her, and blessed her; yea, the queens and the concubines, and they praised her.”
→ You’re the ONE. Not in the crowd. Rare.
Isaiah 43:4
“Since thou wast PRECIOUS in my sight, thou hast been honourable, and I have loved thee… Fear not: for I have redeemed thee, I have called thee by thy name; thou art mine.”
→ Precious = expensive in God’s economy.
1 Peter 2:9
“But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a PECULIAR people… that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light.”
→ Peculiar = different, set apart, not average.
Psalm 139:14
“I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works…”
→ Wonderfully made = limited edition, never mass-produced.
Proverbs 31:10
“Who can find a virtuous woman? for her PRICE is far above rubies.”
→ Straight-up “I’m expensive.”
