Church, the new Religion
God is not-God in a Box

Sing a little, sit down a little, give a little, stand a little, sing some more, sit down, stand up until your dizzy in the head. It’s the same ole boring itinerary with the same boring songs that all sound the same, with most music in church now sounding more like a chant rather than praise and worship of God. Next in the itinerary is the same ole boring salvation and baptism messages that are preached to people who are already saved. They call it a “Church service”. Who are they serving? Don’t get me wrong, I love salvation and baptism messages, but do they have to preach them every week?

Next in the itinerary; the preacher puts God on display as if He were his own personal bellhop. Pop in a prayer and presto-you get a new Cadillac. The modern prosperity gospel is nothing more than the merchandising of God. God is not a vending machine that you use to get material items. God does not answer your prayers because you give Him money. Many of our prayers have been answered by God but we are not listening or aware. More than anything God wants you to love Him. He is your FATHER. He wants to answer your prayers.

There is very little teaching the meat of God’s word in the mainstream Church and mainly what is taught is just a bunch of “fluff” with no substance that is filled with half truths’. It teaches a do nothing, see nothing, stand for nothing, know nothing, and offend nobody gospel, filled with hot air and vain deceit in most cases.

Ephesians 4:14 That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;
15 But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ:

The pastoral leaders of today do not connect the dots in the Bible, period. They fail to relate the 66 books together in a cohesive-comprehensive way so that the people can understand them. Poor teaching in the pulpits is why there is so much confusion. The educational system of the Church is in abject failure a well;

Sad to say, the message of the mainstream Church is watered down and in most cases preached to the soulish man, disguised as a spiritual message. The soulish man lives in the carnal world, but the spiritual man lives in the spirit. The metaphysical (carnal) world and the spiritual world are completely different but yet in the mainstream Church they are taught as one in the same.

Much of the message in the Church is geared toward the flesh and how to appease it rather than crucify it. The true message of the gospel is about denying the flesh and yielding to the spirit and not vice versa.

The modern day Church made easy is how I would describe what I see within the Church. It’s easier to give the people entertainment and so called Christian activities rather than discipleship and true scholarship in the Scriptures because it takes hard work. You also have to be a true scholar to teach the Word of God but they are far and few between. It also boils down to the fact that Church attendance would probably fall dramatically if all they did was teach the WORD of GOD. It is sad but true today, but people just want their ears tickled.

False gifts of the spirit
There are people within the charismatic congregations of the modern Church who roll around on the ground and others that run around the building in circles, while others are spitting, gargling, flopping around and making strange noises.

Laughing in the spirit, dancing in the spirit, crying in the spirit, eating in the spirit, everything in the spirit and all in God’s name. They actually do this in Church.
What spirit?
Surely not the Holy Spirit.
Then there are the super preachers. They prance around on the stage with egos so big that they can’t get out of their own way. They are so full of pride and arrogance that they are beyond repair. Most are 2 year wonders that have need of an education themselves, but yet are placed in positions of leadership as a pastor-leader.

Church has become big business and it has become apostate because of big money and power. Most of the churches you see on the street corners of America and on TV are no longer in good standing with almighty God.

They are teaching utter nonsense and they can barely get the message of the cross out let alone the deeper truths that exist in the Bible. There are no standards for pastors to become pastors because there are no regulators to put them in check so nobody is watching them. But I say there is. Their day will come.

Heck, you can go to school for two years and become a pastor and run a multimillion dollar a year false church and make a killing. Guess what? You won’t have to pay any taxes either. Sounds like easy money to me. Just start a church and fake em out and make millions while doing it.
America is full of these false churches and false preachers and they need to be rooted out and exposed for what they are.

The regulators should be Gods elect and not the government.
The modern church is out of control and many of these super preachers are due for the judgment of God that starts in the pulpit. They are stealing money from God and playing with strange fire.

The Church in America brings in over a trillion dollars a year so why are people so ignorant about the scriptures? Why are Christians so ineffective in their personal and public lives? Why are the Churches in America loosing the cultural war? Why is Christianity losing ground? False teachers and leaders are why;

Where is the money going?
The main job of the Church is to teach the scriptures to the people, but yet there is a famine in the land for the knowledge of God in the midst of so much money within the Church. If people actually new the Bible in a true sense I can assure you the world would be a much better place. The more you know the Bible the more you know God Almighty and there is no way around this fact unless you’re Elijah.
The modern day super preachers are stealing Gods money and putting it into their own grimy pockets. What the people get in return is an easy “cotton candy” gospel that is a substitute for the real gospel. It’s the classic bait and switch; nothing but “melt in your mouth” Christianity with no substance and no backbone.

They have every kind of activity under the sun except for discipline in the study of the Bible. Groups for this, groups for that, bake sales, rummage sales, bingo, rock climbing, music and on and on. All are a distraction from the study of the Word of God.

And again I say; Christians are just plain ignorant about their faith and they are flat lazy and undisciplined in the study of the Scriptures. They want it all right now without any work or effort.

I can give examples of super preachers-teachers who are partly to blame for this all day long but God already has their number. He also has yours. He knows your abilities and limitations and there is no fooling God. We are all accountable for ourselves. You cannot blame your pastor for your outright ignorance because you are just plain lazy about reading the Bible.

2 Timothy 2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
John 5:39 Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of Me.
Acts 17:11 These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so.
John 8:31 Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed;
John 13:35 By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.
Acts 6:7 And the word of God increased; and the number of the disciples multiplied in Jerusalem greatly; and a great company of the priests were obedient to the faith.
Acts 11:26 And when he had found him, he brought him unto Antioch. And it came to pass, that a whole year they assembled themselves with the church, and taught much people. And the disciples were called Christians first in Antioch.
Acts 14:22 Confirming the souls of the disciples, and exhorting them to continue in the faith, and that we must through much tribulation enter into the kingdom of God.

Only after completing the discipleship period can you proceed to the Apostleship of Jesus Christ. How long does it take you ask? It depends on how hard you work at it. Most of the pastor-leaders of today are not even close to being an Apostle which simply means;
“One sent forth”. How can you be “sent forth” if you are ignorant of God’s word? You can’t and you shouldn’t, but many imposters are standing in the pulpits of America and the world claiming to be Apostles but they are only disciples. They claim to know God’s word but do not know it at all.

There are also some that are outright imposters and do not believe in Jesus Christ as Lord at all. They are in the “business of religion“and making money is what they are interested in and not leading people to God. I can spot them a mile away.

I pray for all of the false teachers to fall and be exposed. They are to me the worst of the worst, because they are stealing the “widow’s mite”.
This current system of “Church” is not the way God wanted Himself to be presented to the world. It is due for a change. The modern Church has been hijacked by Charlatans. It has now become a “Christian country club” focused on “religious activity” and not true discipleship.

I also pray for the Christians who are fighting the good fight and standing up for Father God and doing His will in the earth.

Topical Lexicon for church
Meaning within Salvation History
“Church” G # 1577 (Greek ekklēsia) describes God’s redeemed people called out from the world to assemble before Him. In the Septuagint it often renders “assembly” of Israel (for example, Deuteronomy 4:10), preparing the way for New-Testament usage, where it consistently designates those who belong to Messiah and live under His covenant lordship.
The Church in the Gospels
Jesus introduces the term only twice. In Matthew 16:18 He promises, “I will build My church, and the gates of Hades will not prevail against it”, grounding the Church on His person and victorious mission. Matthew 18:17 applies ekklēsia to congregational discipline, showing that even in its embryonic stage the Church possesses authority to bind and loose in accordance with heaven (18:18).
The Birth of the Church in Acts
Pentecost (Acts 2) marks the public inauguration of the Church as the Spirit unites believers into one body (see 1 Corinthians 12:13). From that moment Acts alternates between singular and plural uses:
• Singular for the gathered community in a locality (Acts 5:11; Acts 11:22).
• Plural for multiple congregations within a region (Acts 9:31; Acts 15:41).
Luke highlights growth (Acts 16:5), generous sharing (Acts 4:32), persecution (Acts 8:1-3), and missionary outreach (Acts 13:1-3), presenting the Church as both organism and organization under apostolic oversight.
Local Congregations and the Universal Body
Paul greets “the church of God in Corinth” (1 Corinthians 1:2) while speaking of “all the churches of Christ” (Romans 16:16). The same word therefore embraces:
1. Specific assemblies meeting in homes (Romans 16:5; Philemon 2).
2. Regional groupings (Galatians 1:2).
3. The single worldwide body (Ephesians 1:22-23; 5:23).
Unity and diversity co-exist: each local church is fully church, yet never independent from the whole.
Leadership and Order
Acts 14:23 records appointment of elders in every church. Paul instructs about overseers and deacons so that “you will know how to conduct yourself in God’s household, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and foundation of the truth” (1 Timothy 3:15). Discipline (1 Corinthians 5), corporate decision making (Acts 15:22), orderly worship (1 Corinthians 14:26-40), and care for widows (1 Timothy 5:16) belong to the Church’s stewardship.
Worship and Edification
Gatherings feature prayer, teaching, fellowship, the Lord’s Supper, and singing (Acts 2:42-47; 1 Corinthians 11; Colossians 3:16). Spiritual gifts are given “for the building up of the church” (1 Corinthians 14:12), (14:5). Women and men participate according to apostolic guidelines (1 Corinthians 11:5; 14:34-35), preserving both order and mutual encouragement.
Mission and Evangelism
God’s strategy for world evangelization is church-centered. From Antioch disciples are commissioned (Acts 13:3); offerings are collected “for the saints” across the Mediterranean (1 Corinthians 16:1). The Thessalonian churches become examples so “the word of the Lord rang out” (1 Thessalonians 1:8). The Great Commission is fulfilled as churches plant churches (Acts 14:27; Titus 1:5).
The Church as Body and Bride of Christ
Ephesians portrays a twofold mystery:
• The Church is Christ’s body, “the fullness of Him who fills all in all” (Ephesians 1:23). Believers are organically joined to the Head, each supplying what the body needs (4:16).
• The Church is His bride, loved sacrificially (5:25), cleansed (5:26), nourished (5:29), and destined for a glorious presentation “without stain or wrinkle” (5:27).
Relationship to Israel
Hebrews 2:12 applies Psalm 22:22 to the assembly gathered around the risen Messiah, showing continuity with the worshiping congregation of Israel. Yet Paul affirms a distinction between “the church of God” and ethnic Israel (1 Corinthians 10:32). Romans 11 depicts grafting of Gentiles into the olive tree, maintaining God’s covenantal faithfulness to Abraham while uniting Jew and Gentile in one new man (Ephesians 2:15-16).
Eschatological Outlook
Revelation addresses seven churches (Revelation 1:4, 11) representing the whole Church throughout the age. Christ walks among the lampstands, purifying and encouraging His people until the consummation. At His return the Church will join the heavenly assembly of “the righteous spirits made perfect” (Hebrews 12:23) and celebrate the marriage supper of the Lamb (Revelation 19:7-9).
Practical Ministry Implications
• Christ alone builds the Church; faithful proclamation and shepherding cooperate with His sovereign work.

• Local churches must guard doctrine, practice discipline, and exercise mutual care as God’s household.

• Spiritual gifts are to be pursued not for private benefit but “that the church may be built up.”
• Global missions flow from healthy congregations that send, support, and receive workers.
• Hope in Christ’s triumph empowers perseverance, for “the gates of Hades will not prevail against” His Church.
The 114 New-Testament occurrences of ekklēsia display a rich tapestry: one people, many gatherings; heavenly identity, earthly expression; present witness, future glory

God is not-God in a box.
Church is the new religion. God is nowhere to found.
