When Eleven went full power mode

Stranger Things Season 2 Episode 9 "The Gate" delivered one of the most powerful and visually stunning moments in modern television when Eleven closed the dimensional gate to the Upside Down. After learning to channel her anger from Kali earlier in the season, Eleven descended into the Hawkins Lab chamber with Hopper to seal the breach that had been open for over a year. As she focused her telekinetic powers on the gate, the Mind Flayer fought back with everything it had, sending tendrils of smoke toward her while demodogs swarmed the area. Drawing energy from the electricity around her and remembering all the trauma she had endured, Eleven floated off the elevator floor, created an energy shield, and pushed the Shadow Monster back before sealing the gate shut.​​

The scene showcased Millie Bobby Brown's incredible acting abilities and marked a turning point for Eleven's character development, as she learned that her emotions could be channeled into strength rather than suppressed.
