Host: Casper Leitch and Joint Hosts: Al Byrne and Al Graham welcome Dr Nique Pichette to the program.

This is part two of our interview with Dr. Nique Pichette.

In the evolving world of medical cannabis, few figures embody courage, transformation, and healing quite like Dr. Nique Pichette. A registered nurse with advanced clinical training and a Doctor of Nursing Practice, she initially entered healthcare with traditional medical ideals. But life had a way of challenging those beliefs. After being diagnosed with breast cancer not once but twice, Pichette found herself on the opposite side of the hospital bed and no longer just a provider, but a patient searching for relief and answers. That shift became the foundation of her life’s work and ultimately transformed her into one of today’s most respected medical-cannabis advocates.

During cancer treatment, Pichette discovered firsthand the limitations of conventional medicine. Standard anti-nausea and pain medications caused intolerable side effects and, in some cases, dangerous allergic reactions. When cannabis entered the picture, it wasn’t out of trend or curiosity, it was out of necessity. What began as a reluctant trial soon became a life-changing revelation. Cannabis helped restore her appetite, manage nausea, and improve her overall sense of well-being. That experience shattered her previous misconceptions and ignited her mission to bring cannabis therapeutics into mainstream healthcare.
