The purpose of Micro Needling is in fact to boost collagen production in the skin to firm and smooth the skin and also to eradicate such things as different types of skin ailments such as acne, spots, bruising, lines and wrinkles to name a few. By using the product and rolling it onto the skin it penetrates and makes microscopic holes to small for the human eye to see which send a alert or a shock you could say to system, which can infact start up collagen production. which in turn over a long amount of use can get rid of the above ailments i mentioned earlier. It can also be a pretty good factor against hair loss in men and woman also. by gently rolling the Derma horizontol, vertical and diagonal several times on the hair loss areas, it can stimulate hair regrowth. But as i said it wont happen over night and you talking about many months of constant use, depending on the size of the needles your Derma comes equipped with. 0.5mm is normally for daily use for face and things like that, but the longer needles such as 1mm upwards which people do think the longer the needle the better the results, are expected to be used say once every 2 to 3 weeks on a regular basis. If with the use of the Derma you do cause the area to bleed dont panic it just means you are pressing to hard while rolling and just need to lighten up the pressure used. I must say again the results do take a while to show depending on the individual, so if you not seeing any results in first months dont give up just keep using it as you will see a improvement over time.
