We’ll take 3 falafel (sand) balls please!! A child in Khan Younis created a pretend food stall to make and sell food out of sand. Yes her imagination is allowing her to play, but it also shows how children in Gaza are still not satiated from the food they have access to, so much so that their “make believe” game is preparing and cooking something to eat.

All of her customers are neighborhood children, with the same rich imagination, but also desire to have food readily available to them, something that’s not the case now.

We hope that this young girl Malak can one day make and enjoy all the falafel and cake that she wants. Until the we will continue to support with rice meals and hot foot pots to help feed these tent encampments. Donate to the South Campaign in our bio.
