Posted • November 27, 2025: The six lawmakers who put out the "illegal orders" video are now being contacted to schedule interviews with the FBI. They tried to claim they were only telling members of the military that they had the right to refuse "illegal orders." But the video itself belies that. https://rumble.com/v71xkau-are-the-democrats-calling-for-treason.html —— An order is not illegal just because you don't like it, or because you don't like the president. Many interpreted this as an effort to undermine the president's authority with the military. Sen. Elissa Slotkin (D-MI) undercut the "it was just a PSA" defense with her remarks against President Donald Trump, which she said motivated the video. One of the other Democrat lawmakers, Rep. Chris Deluzio (PA-17), spoke with CNN's John Berman and revealed whether he will sit for an interview with the Bureau.

His response takes some kind of gall. He didn't help himself, claiming that the FBI was conducting an effort to intimidate the lawmakers from "criticizing the president." He also weirdly seemed to be ducking the question about whether he'd been contacted, saying that's what has been "reported." —— "I'm not planning to sit down for a voluntary interview," says Chris Deluzio when asked about the FBI seeking to talk with him and five other Democrat lawmakers who made a controversial video urging service members and intelligence officials to disobey illegal orders. —— "Do you plan on cooperating?" Berman asked. "I'm not planning on sitting down for a voluntary interview, no," Deluzio replied. Berman was surprised and asked the logical question, "Oh? Why not?" Deluzio seemed shocked he was asked that, and didn't respond for a second or two. He said, "Well, everyone in this country has a right to refuse to do that. And I think that this is a clear attempt to intimidate us."

He said he was a member of Congress, as though that meant he was above all this. Um, pro tip? You don't get to ignore the FBI because you think you're above the law, and you claim Trump is "intimidating" you. They're being nice to offer you a voluntary interview. If you don't sit down with them to explain yourself, then don't be surprised and whine if they take other options to proceed with their investigation. And if this was just an innocent PSA, why isn't he talking to them? What's he afraid of? Why is he ducking questions? What doesn't he want to answer? (…)
