Former UFC champion Rampage Jackson reveals he’s made more money streaming in just eight months than he did in his entire 20-year fighting career — including his eight years competing in the UFC.

During his prime, MMA wasn’t as mainstream as it is today, so fighters weren’t earning what top stars make now. Even then, Rampage reportedly made around $225,000 for his 2007 fight with Chuck Liddell — meaning he still earned a solid amount throughout multiple bouts.

With a record of 38 wins and 14 losses, Rampage Jackson is considered one of the most popular and explosive MMA fighters ever. But despite his success, MMA has never been the most lucrative sport. Even today, low fighter pay remains one of the biggest controversies surrounding the UFC.
