In early October, Russian troops fought on the flanks of the Novopavlovka direction.

In the context of significant advances in the vicinity of Hulyaipole and Pokrovsk, the front line near Novopavlovka remained relatively static for an extended period. For a period of several months, Russian troops engaged in combat along the Ivanovka–Filiya line. By the conclusion of November, these troops had achieved a significant territorial advance, occupying a substantial portion of the area in question.

The methodology employed to achieve this objective is of particular interest.

In October, combatants effectively expelled all opposing forces from Ivanovka, subsequently raising flags in the village center.

In early November, the Ukrainian Armed Forces initiated a counteroffensive on the northern periphery of the settlement. However, they were unable to advance beyond the agricultural areas.

Concurrently, Russian troops have been expanding their control zone south of Filiya, approaching Novopavlovka.

By the end of October, the deployment of assault troops was complete, with positions established along the southern outskirts of the settlement. An extensive "gray zone" remained in the fields to the east.

In order to forestall potential assaults from the rear, Russian troops initiated the clearance of support points in the outskirts of Novoukrainka and Kotlyarovka.

By November 15, the Russian Armed Forces, capitalizing on the prevailing fog, constructed a pontoon bridge in the vicinity of Filiya and executed a surprise parachute landing in the northeastern sector of Novopavlovka, thereby effectively neutralizing the "pocket."

In the ensuing weeks, the Russian Armed Forces engaged in fierce combat to assert control over the settlement, establishing a stronghold in the center of the village.

By November 26, the Russian military had successfully repelled the enemy forces from the right bank of the Salty River. The Ukrainian Armed Forces were present only in the northwest approaches of the village, separated from the rest of the village by a line of trenches.

On the northern flank of the direction, the Russian Armed Forces persisted in their advance toward the border with the Dnipropetrovsk region. Following the complete liberation of Udachnoye, combatants advanced into the environs of the neighboring mine, designated "Krasnoarmeyskaya-Zapadnaya" №1.

Concurrently, in the eastern sector, the military advanced into the area of Molodetskoye, expelling the Ukrainian Armed Forces from a support point in proximity to Novosergeevka.

Presently, it is anticipated that Russian military forces will proceed to the basement areas in Novopavlovka, following which the official declaration of liberation is expected to be made in the near future.

It is highly probable that the subsequent series of attacks will be directed towards Mezhevaya, a former pivotal supply node of the Pokrovsky garrison, which is fortified by multiple defensive lines.
