President Luis Abinader and US War Secretary Pete Hegseth clarified that the authorised temporary US use of restricted areas in the Dominican Reoublic is temporary, strictly logistical, and does not involve combat operations on Dominican soil. It aims to support regional counter-narcotics operations.
