Discussion with my spiritual family on hope.

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. (John 3:16)

We believe in hope. Hope is the substance of our faith to believe in the resurrection. However, faith works by love.

Therefore, in order to believe in John 3:16 you need your hope, faith, and love to work in accordance with the New Testament principle of Grace and not the Law.

For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision; but faith which worketh by love. (Galatians 5:6)

However, we establish the Law in our ministries.

Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. (Hebrews 11:1)

And so faith, hope, love abide [faith—conviction and belief respecting man’s relation to God and divine things; hope—joyful and confident expectation of eternal salvation; love—true affection for God and man, growing out of God’s love for and in us], these three; but the greatest of these is love. (1 Corinthians 13:13) Amplified Classic Bible
