Graham Greene was born in 1904. He was a prolific writer of novels, collections of short stories, travel books, Autobiographies and 4 children's books. His books are well known and many of his short stories and books have been made into films. He died April 1991.

‘Travels with my Aunt’ was first published by Bodley Head in 1969.
Henry Pulling, a retired bank manager, meets his septuagenarian Aunt Augusta for the first time in over 50 years at what he supposes to be his mothers funeral. Soon after she persuades Henry to abandon Southwood and travel to Brighton, Paris, Istanbul, and Paraguay. Along the way, Henry joins a shiftless, twilight society of hippies, war criminals, CIA men that will help him come alive after a dull suburban life.
