Hello my Knight's and Knightie's. Welcome to episode 19 of Midknight Expressions.
This week's music video release is the A-Cappella version of, Rain and the Storm I Bring. An emotional song and second release from Spell's and Spirit's. Be prepared to be overwhelmed with cuteness and impactful depth.
I have completed the A-Cappella version of Fire Dancer's and have begun the acoustic video. This has been intense. Very time consuming with lots of little things to make it work, I am sure it will be worth it.
Our review this week is a story, within a story, with other stories within them. The book is titled, The Name of the Wind.
The Name of the Wind, also referred to as The Kingkiller Chronicle: Day One, is a heroic fantasy novel written by American author Patrick Rothfuss. It is the first book in the ongoing fantasy trilogy The Kingkiller Chronicle, followed by The Wise Man's Fear. It was published on March 27, 2007, by DAW Books.See Wikipedia for more in-depth knowledge.
I love and hate this book. It is well written full of powerful images and intrigue. It is also frustrating. I kept getting lost and had to read it three times to catch the parts I missed.
The main character, Kvothe, is intriguing. Everything from his physical description, his up bringing, to his mental capabilities. Paints a picture of an intelligent fool.
There are many captivating parts to this novel and then there are parts where he drags on and gets the reader lost.
The world is gritty and has a rich history. Adding depth to its background. His systems of magic is approach very logically and scientific.
The drawback is that this is the first book of the King Killer Chronicles. It has been 10 years since the release of the second book. I truly hope that this does not go the way of, Game of Thrones or, The Wheel of Time.
Apparently the book has been written. The author has just been, “taking his time to get it right.” so there is hope and it better be good.

I was blown away, I was speechless, I cried. Happy tears to be sure, still I cried. I had to listen to it multiple times to believe it. But it is really real. I want to share it with the world. So here it is.
