The Cross & Resurrection — Living as Resurrection People

I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving yesterday — truly.
Today we continued our journey through The Cross & Resurrection by looking at what it means to live as resurrection people — people who walk in the newness of life Jesus purchased for us.

Our main Scripture was Romans 6:1–14, where Paul teaches that believers are:

✨ dead to sin
✨ alive to God
✨ walking in newness of life
✨ no longer enslaved to the old nature
✨ empowered by the Holy Spirit

Here’s what we saw in Scripture today:

✦ We walk in newness of life

📖 “Just as Christ was raised… so we too may walk in newness of life.” — Romans 6:4

✦ Our old self was crucified with Christ

📖 “Our old self was crucified… so we may no longer be enslaved to sin.” — Romans 6:6

✦ There is no condemnation in Christ

📖 “There is now no condemnation…” — Romans 8:1–4

✦ We set our minds on things above

📖 “Seek the things above… set your minds on things above.” — Colossians 3:1–4

✦ We walk by the Spirit

📖 “Walk by the Spirit… the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace…” — Galatians 5:16–25

Resurrection isn’t just a future promise —
it’s a present power that transforms how we live every day.

As a reminder, I don’t post on weekends, so we’ll continue this series on Monday.

If today encouraged you, like, comment, share, or follow so others can grow with us.
