It has been one year from 2024 that I filmed the Woodhaven walking tour video in Queens, NY. Woodhaven - Part 1 on YouTube has over +1,100 views! Last time I filmed part 1 was during a cold start in January 2024. I almost could have canceled filming there and wait until another time. I did part 1 already and now, part 2 is out for a better time during fall from October 2025. The weather during part 2 was okay at 60 degrees and it's sunny, making it enough time for a good start of filming here. Not chilly at all, but the temperature felt cool in the morning while warming up from 46-50 F to 60 F.

Woodhaven is a neighborhood in Queens, NY with a community of immigrants from Mexico, Central America, Latin America, some from India, some from China, and a remaining small number of Polish, Slovaks, and Albanians living here. Woodhaven used to have a large number of Irish, Italians, and Poles living here during the early and mid 1900s. Between the 1980s, 1990s, and up today, a lot of Latinos moved here to start new businesses for work. Jamaica Ave is the community's busiest street with a subway station having trains running. Woodhaven is bordered with Cypress Hills in Brooklyn and other communities in Queens like Ozone Park, Richmond Hill, and the Forest Park area.
