My Sweet Rose Juliet

So I kicked around the idea of continuing with the Romeo and Juliet theme and jotted down the first verse of this song for later consideration. The second verse was supposed to be an entirely different song, actually neither We Could Fly Away nor the second verse here started out intended to be Romeo and Juliet themed, but anyway I was in a rush and put it down on the document I had open real quick then decided I’d work with it as one song later on.

It sounds like a back and forth but Juliet isn’t supposed to kick in until the final verses but I guess it could go either way. I’ll let the listener decide.

I asked Grok for images and animations based on the balcony scene to make the video.

I was going from memory and haven’t read or watched this in a long while but it’s stylized and loosely inspired.

There was a glitch on one of the images, possibly a lost signal, but I thought it would work well at the end.
