Defending the Catholic faith - Are Catholics saved?

There is a prominent Protestant website that states…”If a person believes what the Catholic Church officially teaches, he/she will not be saved.” I actually appreciate the honesty. Every Protestant should think this and try to evangelize us Catholics. How could they not? The site goes on to say what every Protestant believes…“because the Catholic Churches teaches that we are not saved by faith alone…and therefore don’t believe that Jesus’ death was sufficient to fully purchase our salvation” It’s what they believe so own it…the problem is that it’s utter nonsense!!
