📧 𝐁𝐞𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐄𝐦𝐚𝐢𝐥 𝐒𝐩𝐨𝐨𝐟𝐢𝐧𝐠 – 𝐘𝐨𝐮 𝐀𝐫𝐞 𝐍𝐎𝐓 𝐇𝐚𝐜𝐤𝐞𝐝

Sometimes you receive an email that looks like it came from your own email, your bank, or even your customer… but they never actually sent it.

Don’t panic — this doesn’t mean you’re hacked.
𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐢𝐬 𝐜𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐝 𝐄𝐦𝐚𝐢𝐥 𝐒𝐩𝐨𝐨𝐟𝐢𝐧𝐠.

👉 Email spoofing means the sender address is faked to trick you into believing the email is real.

✅𝐇𝐨𝐰 𝐝𝐨𝐞𝐬 𝐢𝐭 𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐞𝐧?

Hackers can change the “From” address using:

✅Webmail identities
✅Outlook / Thunderbird settings
✅Compromised servers
✅Fake scripts

So the email looks real, but it isn’t.

👉 𝐇𝐨𝐰 𝐭𝐨 𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐟𝐲 𝐚 𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐨𝐟𝐞𝐝 𝐞𝐦𝐚𝐢𝐥?

Open Email in Webmail or Outlook and check Headers and compare:

✅Sender-ID
✅Authenticated-ID
✅If they don’t match → it’s spoofed.

👉 𝐇𝐨𝐰 𝐭𝐨 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐞𝐥𝐟?

Set up your domain’s security records in cPanel:
✔ SPF
✔ DKIM
✔ DMARC
✅And enable Spam Filters to block suspicious emails.

👉Stay alert. Don’t fall for spoofed emails.
