Went up to the Wapati Reservation to talk with Rains Fall. See if he knew a way to talk Eagle Flies out of the madness. Unfortunately, Rains Fall was just as lost as I was. He is trying to avoid war, but his son and many other young braves see glory in battle, glory in war and glory in death.
A Captain Monroe showed up and said that unfortunately, the oil company was gonna take their land and drill for oil and so far there is nothing they can do. He seemed like a good person who was honestly trying to help the Indians, but even he was not able to make progress.
He mentioned wanted me to help him in a way that would leave the Indians out of it. I agreed to meet him later. He rode on to other business.
Rains Fall and I were heading up to collect some herbs because Rains Fall said they would help with my sickness. I think he knew there were no herbs to help me. I think he just wanted to talk or just wanted some company in his old age. He found the herbs and packed em in my saddle bag. We rode on to a sacred site, but looks like someone had torched the place and stolen a sacred pipe.
